Fun with Cousins

My sister and her family chose to use the last few days of their Spring Break to come visit us! The stayed for only a few days, but we made most of the time -- and Bean LOVED all the cousin attention.  While they were here, we went to the Boonshoft Children's Museum in Dayton and spent a lot of time just hanging out at our house.  My brother-in-law was able to come along with them and Steve was able to take off a day to put him to work on our new project (blog post to come as it progress).

(Bean loved playi
ng in this boat at the museum.  There wasn't much to it other than sitting and turning the wheel.)

(This museum has a really neat play area in the middle that involves lots of climbing and tube slides.  Bean was intimidated at first, but would do the tube tunnel in another area.  Eventually, she put aside her fear and made my sister take her through all the tubes in the play area.  All I have to say is that I've climbed through enough of those tubes with my nieces in the past and was super thankful my sister donned her Super Aunt cape for the day.)

(There was a little tidal pool that you got to feel some sea creatures.  I don't think Bean was ever adventurous enough to touch the animals, but I think she did splash a little in the water.)

(The museum has little rooms set up with different themes.  Bean loved "driving" the recycling truck.  Which really means, she loved hitting all the buttons that made the lights and sounds come on.)

("Help! Help! Help!" Bean got a kick out of being in the slammer.  If only they provided the parents with a lock and an hour to leave their kids in there. . . )

(Playing in the "dirt" - rubber pieces - and learning about landfills.)

(In the grocery store, Bean formed a weird attachment to the asparagus.  She dug them all out of the vegetable bin and lined them all up on the counter.  She would go around and give certain people an asparagus, and would get upset if she found it back in the bin or given to someone else.  It was weird.)

(Chris showing off his awesome dad moves in the dance room with all the girls.)

(Another huge win in the museum was the water tables.  I think I spent most of my time with Bean in the different water sections.)

(My nieces are big on playing their tablets and gameboys.  They can link their games all together and play together.  Bean wanted to play with Gabbie so Amber helped her out.  What are aunts for?!)

(Making cookies together - gluten free, too! They had an assembly line and each had a job to get it accomplished.  I think the incentive of getting to eat the cookies and Hershey kisses was their motivation.)

(Have I mentioned before how much Bean loves Gabbie??  She enjoys playing with  each cousin, but I think because they are closest in age, Bean latches on to Gabbie -- who is a trooper and allows it to happen.)

Saying goodbye to the family was a little rough for Bean.  We had to distract her with promises of movies and special treats for the evening.  Over the next few days, I'd get questions about when she'd see her cousins again.  Today (3 weeks later), she told me she was going to get to play with her cousins after she woke up from her nap.  Sorry sweetie, it may be awhile before that happens.  Between them finishing up school and baby sister coming soon, there isn't any IN trips in the works.

Easter Celebrations

Easter this year was done a little bit differently than we've done it in years past.  First off, we weren't even sure we were going to visit my family until we were actually in the car headed to Indiana on Thursday night.  And the other big difference is that Steve had to work at the plant on Easter Sunday, meaning we had to cut out of Indiana and miss out on my family's actual Easter celebration.  I was bummed to miss out on dressing Bean up fancy for church, miss out on family dinner and big Easter egg hunt; but we made the best of it and had little celebrations of Easter through the weekend while we could.

We had hesitated on going in for the weekend because some of my family member's were sick.  Some had been on medicine for awhile, some just starting.  We weren't sure if we wanted to risk sickness.  But we decided that it should be safe and we'd make sure to keep our distance and wash our hands a lot.  Our plan apparently worked because Easter has come and gone and we are all still healthy - whew!

Friday was pretty low-key. Bean helped me make resurrection buns for Steve (a tradition started by his mom that we enjoy passing on to Bean.  She didn't like eating them, but did enjoy the making part!).  Bean got lots of attention from grandparents and got to do whatever she wanted.  I welcomed the spoiling because it gave me a break to just relax and hold adult conversations.  Bean got a little stir crazy, so Ahm (my mom) put her to work helping to make cookies -- Bean LOVES to help baking! Later in the afternoon, my sister Amber and her girls came over. We set the girls all up to dye some Easter eggs together.  Bean loved it and would drop her eggs into the colors, which inevitably broke every egg she put in the jars.  My mom was involved in their church's Good Friday service, so we tagged along to listen to her sing.  Bean got to hang out with the other toddlers in the nursery and of course had a blast - she knows no strangers.

(Helping to make the resurrection buns.  I had already made them up the night before, but they needed rolled in butter and cinnamon sugar.  She loved to, "roll, roll, roll").

(Egg dying is always an intense process.  The girls had an assigned number of eggs, but somehow Bean ended up with a lot extra - thanks Emily!)

(She tried to mimic the other girls by using the spoon to put the eggs into the color, but it was used more as a dropping device which aided in the egg cracking.)

Saturday was a pretty packed day.  We started the morning off with putting new Jamberries on Bean (I'm getting pretty good at it and can do it in around 30 min when I'm focused) - per her request.  We finished up just in time to head to my aunt's house to crash their family Easter.  My mom wasn't feeling the best, so it was just my dad, Steve, Bean and I who crashed their lunch.  We didn't plan on staying long, but they roped Bean into hunting eggs with them.  One of my aunt's grandchildren couldn't come and they let Bean have her eggs. Bean had a blast (it was her first real hunt where she understood what was going on).  Thanks Nana for letting her participate!

(Waiting for the egg hunt at Nana's house.  She was a little lost at this point on what an egg hunt involved or the purpose of the bucket everyone kept telling her to hold onto.)

(Counting eggs with daddy to see how many more she needed to find.)

(I finally got to meet my cousin's baby Jessie!  Hannah and I were super close when we were younger and would spend the summer's at each other's houses.  It was a little surreal for me to see our kids sitting and playing together.)

After the hunt, we had to say goodbye and Steve/dad dropped Bean and I off at a baby shower.  There, we met up with my sister, her girls, and my mom.  It was getting late in the afternoon and Bean didn't get a nap in.  It was starting to show and she was melting down (could also have done with the fact that she didn't eat much at lunch and was now on a sugar high from candy).  We finally called the shower down when Bean was losing it.  My sister and her family stopped by my parents' house very briefly so that Bean could have a little egg hunt with her cousins (they did a bigger hunt with the other cousins and my brother on Sunday).

After they all left, we just spent the evening entertaining Bean and trying to keep her happy (she only napped like 5 min in the car).  She did extremely well and earned herself a movie.  Once the movie was over, it was bedtime.  Woohoo!  She had had a rough couple nights at my mom's on Thursday/Friday. Both nights, she ended up in bed with me.  Saturday must have really worn her (and us) out, because we all slept in later than usual.  I woke up in a panic because I knew we needed to hit the road for Steve to make it into work (and I still had to pack).  We pulled together quickly, said bye to my family, and headed eastward towards home.  We made it to our house in time to eat a quick lunch, before Steve had to go to work.

(Best way to distract Bean from how tired she is is to strip her naked and let her paint.)

(And painting quickly turned into playing in the colored water.)

(And then mayhem broke out and she colored herself, which secured her a trip to the shower.)

(She wasn't happy about the shower part, but I bribed her with being able to watch a movie once she was out.  She really didn't want the shower, but the thought of a movie finally won out.)

Steve only had to go in for a few hours, so he got home just around the time that Bean woke up from her nap.  Once she was up, we took her outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and let her find some Easter eggs and enjoy the contents of her Easter basket.  We then feasted on a pizza for our Easter dinner :-) and introduced Bean to "The Magic School Bus" which is currently on her favorite shows list.

("Bubbles!" "Chalk!" "Eggs!")

("There's anudder one!")

Even though our Easter was all done differently this year, we are still thankful that we get to experience the joy in the true meaning of Easter - Christ died for our sins so that we no longer have to live as slaves to sin.  We are thankful for his sacrifice and look forward to teaching Bean all about what her Savior has done for her.

Hoppy Easter!

Last Thursday, we headed to Indiana to spend Easter with my family.  I spent the week getting us all ready so that we could just hop in the car once Steve got home from work.  My long runs fall on Thursdays, so I had to have everything ready before nap time so that I could put Bean down, run 7 miles on the treadmill, shower, and then be ready to go by 3 (nap time starts at 1).  We ended up not being ready and in the car until 3:30, but it was close!

I was nervous about the car ride, seeing as how the last long car ride resulted in Bean puking.  However, she did really good.  As a family, we ate chips and dip (Steve - salsa, Bean/I - guacamole) and that seemed to pass some of the time.  But then Bean started spreading the guac on her seat, so snack time was over. The car ride was uneventful and we only had to listen to the Frozen sound track twice.  We got to my parents just as they were getting in the car to head to their Easter choir practice.  We settled in and let Bean run around for a little bit before putting her to bed.

Bedtime has been sort of crazy lately.  Bean's been in this weird funk where she cries when we leave her in the room.  I'll talk to her on the monitor and say, "Get your paci and blankie and lay down with wormie." She scans the room, grabs the blanket and immediately lays down.  My parents have a monitor system and I wasn't sure if we could talk to her.  Well we couldn't, so we had to be creative and patient at bedtime.  The first night went pretty smooth.  I popped my head in the room a couple of times and told her to lay down, and finally she did.  She even slept through the night!

On Friday morning, Bean and I took my mom to the store to buy some last minute Easter stuff.  My mom is recovering from foot surgery and still on crutches, so outings are few and far between for her, haha.  We got what we needed and headed back to her house. The rest of the afternoon was a whirlwind - my friend April came to hang out along with my sister and nieces.  We (well, I) grilled out hamburgers/hot dogs and had a little birthday celebration for April. I offered to watch the nieces (for the whole night) so that my sister didn't have to take them to church for the Easter program or come back to my parents to take them home. So the crew heading to the church left and the rest of us just hung out and watched Disney movies (my mom ended up not feeling well and stayed with us girls!).

(Bean got to eat a cupcake to celebrate April's Birthday! She was loving it!)

(Bean got really attached to Gabbie.  She loved playing kitchen with her.)

Getting Bean to bed that night was really rough.  After an hour of both Steve and I tag teaming going in, I finally just laid down with her and fell asleep. About an hour later, Steve came up to bed and moved Bean into her crib. She only lasted a couple hours in the crib before she started crying.  I ended up going into her room and laid in a bed with her in there for the rest of the night.  It wasn't too bad, except for her waking up at 6:30 in the morning to start her day (we usually get up around 8).  I'm glad the nieces were around to help out in entertaining her the rest of the day!

We were supposed to go to Lafayette to celebrate my other niece's birthday in the afternoon; however, she ended up sick and the party was cancelled.  We then decided to move our Easter egg hunt from the morning to later in the afternoon.  When my sister got to my parents, she and I went over to the school track (like a 5 min walk) an ran together.  Well, we started off together, but then I broke off and we went at our own paces.  She ran 4 miles while I took a few more minutes to complete 4.5.  She is the one that started this mini idea, but she's dealing with a knee injury and is a little behind in her training.  The run was still really fun to do with her and I loved the outing! While I was running, I thought about all the years I've been on that track for gym class & activities in school.  In that 1 instance of running 4.5 miles, I'm convinced that was the most running I've ever done on that track throughout my entire 13 years at that school (kind of a cool feeling!).

We finished our runs and headed back to the house, just in time for lunch! Steve played Mr. Mom in my absence.  Bean was just finishing up her lunch when I walked in. We also had some more family show up for a little bit.  My sister (who is a miracle worker) put Bean down for her nap.  She said Bean fell asleep before the last book was read (which never happens for me).  When Bean got up from nap, all the little girls got to color Easter eggs! Bean LOVED coloring the eggs.  She would even sign "more" and say "eeeeg".

(Can you tell she's the center of attention??)

(Girls dyeing the eggs together! Thanks Aunt Amber for taking the lead this year in coloring!  It's so fun to watch the roles switch from me being the aunt to her girls, to her being the aunt to my girl!)

(So much fun!)

(I love this shot simply because you can see she had her feet perched up against the table.)

(We took home a couple dozen of the colored eggs so we could eat them.  I got quite the kick out of one of the older girls's egg -- I <3 do="" ell="" family.="" i="" kid="" my="" nbsp="" p="" said="" too="">

After the coloring, my sister and I took the girls over to the school playground to let them run around a little bit.  While they played, the "Easter bunny" hid eggs at my parents' house.  It was so nice out that we were able to do the hunt in the front yard.  Bean LOVED the egg hunt as well!  We each had assigned colors so I helped Bean find her color.  She would pick it up and proudly put it in her bag, then run off to find another egg.  She did "find" some eggs that weren't hers, but then she'd happily hand them to who they belonged.

(Ahhhh, how on earth is Emily this big?!  She was such the big helper over the weekend!  She took such good care of Bean and allowed me to relax a little.)

(Slide time with Allie!)

(Slide time with Emily!)

(Hold the phones -- all 4 girls are looking in the right direction AND smiling! Win!)

(Egg hunt time!  Bean did a great job picking up her eggs and putting them in the bag.  I would point to which ones were hers -- the pink camo! If she picked up someone else's egg, I'd tell her whose it belonged to and she'd run to them and hand it over.)

The girls played together a little more while the guys continued their computer games and then we had tacos for dinner (nothing says Easter dinner like tacos, right??).  The Adams crew left and then it was time to get Bean to bed.  We had another rough go and she just kept fighting it.  With Steve playing computer games (he did offer to help, and even went in, but then the game had to be paused and I felt bad that my dad and brother-in-law were waiting on him) I decided it wasn't worth the headache.  So Bean got to stay up later.  I laid her in bed with my mom while I finished getting some stuff done.  I then joined them when I was ready.  They had been laying there watching Frozen and Bean looked like she was almost asleep.  At 10, I decided it was time for her to go to bed and if she wouldn't go to sleep, I'd just lay with her again.  I rocked her for 5 min and she was out! What?! She cried out once in the night, but went back to sleep.

We got ready and headed to church Sunday morning.  Bean went in the toddler nursery at my parents church like it was no big deal.  When I picked her up after the service, she was actually disappointed that she didn't get to stay and play.  Sorry kid.  You are stuck with us.  We went back to my parents, changed clothes, and packed up the car.  We made it to my Mammie's house for lunch at 1 and got to quickly catch up with my cousins.

(All dolled up for church.  We did pigtails on Miss Bean for the first time! It seriously made her look so big! She also loved going to the toddler class at my parents' church.  She actually was upset I picked her up and made her leave.  She wanted to continue to shake her maraca as they walked around the table listening to music.)

(On the way from my parents' house to Mammie's house, Bean was gong a little crazy.  She was tired and hungry, and I didn't want her to fall asleep.  So I encouraged the crazy.)

(Okay, so maybe she was going REALLY crazy.  And again, those pigtails make her look SOO big!)

We left to head back home to Ohio after lunch.  We wanted to time it so that Bean would sleep on the way home.  She slept about an hour (that happens when we do later naps, typically she goes down by 1) and was sort of hateful the rest of the car ride.  Haha.  She's finally caught on to what being in the packed car means and what "byes" mean now.  She was devastated to say goodbye to her cousins and return home to just Momma/Daddy.  What she doesn't know is we'll be heading back in a couple of weeks. . .

(She passed out like 5 minutes into the car ride.  I had high hopes of her sleeping the whole way home; yeah right! She slept about an hour and then was a little hateful the other 1.5 hours.  However, we didn't have to pull out the tablet with Frozen so she wasn't being THAT hateful.)

(One of my best friend's parents go to the same church as my parents.  I met up with them to get a "gift" from my friend.  Bree made one of these for her daughter and made one for Bean! It is a really nice step stool for her to use in the kitchen so she can help me cook, bake, and do dishes.  How exciting! Bean loves sitting on it and playing while I'm fluttering around.)

(I had made up an Easter bucket for Bean before we left and had it ready for her when we got back home.  It had some little Easter chotsky from last year as well as some toys I got her.  She has a neat Disney Princess play set so I got her a couple new Princesses to play with it.  When she found them in the eggs, she knew what they were and took them to her castle to play.)

(Loving all her Easter chotsky!  This girl is so much fun right now! I'm LOVING this toddler stage, even with the tantrums and teething.  I love to watch her learn, interact, and turn into this sweet little person.)

***Addendum****
So these aren't from Easter, but they are from a week later.  Sara and Baby James came and hung out with Bean and I while the guys were at a church event.  What else do you do with Peeps?!  Make S'mores dip of course.

(Chocolate chips & peanut butter mixed/melted together, then layer on the peeps and place under broiler for a couple minutes.  Dip with graham crackers - or my favorite animal crackers! Yum!)

(Bean wanted in on that action.  This girl has her momma's sweet tooth!)

(It was Bean approved!)

Indiana Visit & A Really Bad Day

A couple weekends ago, we headed in to Indiana for the first time since Christmas (which is too long in my book)! We were headed back so that I could judge in the annual piano contest that I've been involved with since I was young.  I've been back to be a judge for the past 4-5 years and always have a good time doing it.

We got in Friday evening to a pretty quiet house. Just mom and Sara were home (dad was due to arrive back from a business trip later that night).  After dinner, I took mom (along with Bean) to the grocery store to pick up a few items.  My mom hurt her foot about a month ago (fell off a stage) and isn't allowed to drive.  She was going a little stir crazy and needed an outing (and groceries).  After our quick trip, we got back home and got Bean to bed.  We were all soon to follow!

I had to be up early on Saturday to be at the church for judging.  There's a meeting for judges at 7:30 with events starting at 8.  It's the same thing every year and every year it isn't needed. Oh well!  Usually, my brother and sister judge as well, but this year it was just my sis and I.  I was placed in my usual room by myself.  Kids from beginners to intermediate levels would come in the room, play a couple songs they had prepared, and then leave.  My job was to listen and critique their playing -- point out what could be done differently and praise what they did right.  I wrote my comments on a paper, assigned numbers and awarded them whatever placement they earned.  My sister got placed in a room with one of the worst judges (worse as in she wrote a novel for each student, was super nit-picky, and didn't encourage the kids).  We were both done by mid afternoon.

We all rendezvoused back at my parents house for the evening. While I was judging, Ahm (my mom) took over duty of Bean with the help of my nieces.  I'm not sure what all they but I know Bean had fun regardless! She loved all the attention!

That night, Bean had some trouble going to bed.  She went down okay, but cried out a few times when Steve and I went to bed.  I had to go and rock her some, and then got to sleep.  Early the next morning (5:45am), Steve and I woke up to a couple bangs.  He said it sounded like a bird hit the window.  We sleep over the garage, and to me it sounded like the house door banging shut, but without the vibration.  Then we heard silence.  I was paranoid so I went in search of the noise.  I got to the upstairs foyer to find my sister walking into the bathroom kind of zombie like.  I asked her if she was okay.  She slowly turned her head to look at me, but her body continued to go forward.  She went head first over the toilet and smacked straight into the wall.  I grabbed her and got her to the floor to find her unresponsive.  I ran downstairs to yell for help from my parents.

The next few minutes were a blur.  I know I ran back upstairs to check on Sara (just staring and not responsive) and told dad he might need to call 911 (okay, dad claims I shouted CALL 911 -- you be the judge).  My running up and down and getting help woke Bean.  So Steve was dealing with her, when I was with my sister.  She finally came to and was slowly talking to me.  She knew who I was, but was still really out of it.  My mom finally came on scene and took over.  I went and got some supplies to clean up the mess (I'll save you all the details on the mess, ha) and get stuff for Sara.  My mom finally pieced the story that Sara needed to go to the bathroom, so she got up out of bed and felt woozy.  She must have bumped into her door/desk by all the pens on the floor (those were the bangs we heard).  Sara knew she was passing out when she got to the bathroom, but thought if she could just sit down she'd be fine.  I just happened to be there right as she fainted.  Once I knew mom was in control of the situation, I went to tend to Bean.

I was too hyped up to go back to bed, so I sent Steve back to sleep (he really wasn't involved in what all happened and was sort of out of it himself - he just new something had happened with Sara).  I rocked Bean a little bit, but she wasn't settling.  She kept crying when I put her in the crib, so we went and laid in another bed together.  She started talking to me, so I gave up and went back out (carrying her) to check on Mom/Sara.  Sara needed a bandaid, so we went to go find one.  Mom got Sara taken care of and back in bed.  While mom was finishing up cleaning stuff, Bean laid her head on my shoulder so I knew she was still tired.  I went back into the room she sleeps in and laid her in the crib with her singing glow worm.  She grabbed her blanket and quietly rolled over.

There was no way I was going back to bed, so I just went downstairs and binged on Duggars while everyone else went back to bed (well, my dad had to be at church early, so he didn't go to bed).  My brother and his family were going to come over after lunch, so we made the decision to stick around a few extra hours than we normally do.  My sister and her family came over, too.  So it was quite the houseful.  Sara woke up and was normal (except for feeling sore).  She didn't totally grasp what all happened.  She knew she had passed out, but didn't really understand placement in bathroom and what all the commotion was.

(Cousins! Oliver - 15 months, Emily - 11, Allie - almost 9, Bean - 17 months,
Gabbie - almost 6, Charlotte - almost 5)

Bean took a good nap (even with the houseful of people) and woke up with a little bit of time to play with cousins.  We loaded up the car and said our goodbyes.  The drive was going smoothly and we had already decided we'd stop and get dinner on the way home.  About an hour into the drive, though.  Bean started sort of coughing, then all of a sudden projectile vomited! Steve pulled the car over as we both watched her just throw up a ton all over herself.  She was crying and really upset.  I got her out of the car and sort of held her over a field in case she was going to throw up more.  It was warm enough outside that I stripped her down to get her out of the smelly clothes.  Steve got out our suitcase and I found clean clothes to put her into.

Next up -- clean up all the vomit.  Boy was it awful! Steve held Bean in the front seat while I cleaned it up. I had like 3 baby wipes, a couple disinfecting wipes, and that was about it.  I used her puke clothes to clean out all the blueberry bits (just what you wanted to know! She ate blueberries and drank milk in the car as we left my parents' house).  I wiped the seat and belts as much as I could, but there was no getting the smell totally out.  Poor girl had to be strapped back down in that seat.  She cried when we first put her in the seat, but I crawled in the back with her and turned Frozen on.  She was a happy girl after that.  I was poised and ready to catch any more vomit in a plastic bag, but she never threw up again.

(For some reason in my head, there was like 10 times the amount of vomit shown.  Maybe it's just that the smell was so much worse than this picture can capture.  I washed the lining of the car seat n the washer and got the smell out of it; but I can't get the smell out of the belts/buckle/plastic seat.  I've wiped it all down multiple times with Lysol, Febreezed it, and even set it outside a couple times.  I need to rewash it all again.  Problem is the part that the belts snap into.  Vomit got down in the crevices and I can't get it out.  Ugh. The seat still stinks up the car.)

I wanted to just get home, but Steve needed a break out of the car (he was sort of zoning and also just the smell).  So we stuck to our plan and stopped for dinner.  I didn't know what to do with her -- do I allow her to eat?? What do I feed her, I had planned to feed her a fruit pouch, ravioli and yogurt prior to the puking.  Definitely not a good combo if it were to come back out! So I figured she'd ask for what she wanted (trust the 1.5 year old, right??).  She ate some applesauce pouch and a couple yogurt chips.  Then when our food came, she wanted some fries.  I let her have some, but what she really wanted was the ketchup.  She loved sticking the fry in the ketchup, and licking it off before sticking it back in.  She had a couple moments of gagging and I feared vomit.  So we called dinner done and got back on the road (okay, so maybe I had a little meltdown and completely shut down.  Steve had to just step up and say, okay - we're going home now!).

We got home without any more problems.  As Steve unloaded the car, Bean and I got in the shower.  It was already passed bedtime, so she went right to bed.  I was worried over every sound I heard in the monitor just waiting for more puke, but none never came.  She never really acted sick after that, but she did have some issues with diarrhea and random fevers for the rest of the week.  (Side note -- my mom ended up puking all the next day and having a high fever for a few days).  So maybe Bean did have something?? Or maybe just her final 4 teeth coming in??

(One clean & happy girl with a very tired momma! Remember, my day started with my sister fainting in front of me and ended with a puking kid. If only I could tell this Lindsey what the rest of the week would look like. Probably best she didn't see it coming!)

After a long week of babysitting nearly every day (really, the babysitting was fine, just made for some long days!) and continuing on my mini-marathon training, Steve woke up on Saturday feeling very achy and had a fever - which is how my mom felt the day before she puked.  I was prepared for him to bring puke-fest back to our house, but he didn't.  He just had a fever, slept a lot, and complained of feeling crappy all weekend.  I was a freak about germs and sickness in the house again, so he wasn't allowed to be around Bean & I; meaning, Bean and I have had a lot of 1 on 1 time and I haven't gotten a "mom" break in quite some time!

Chuck'E'Cheese

At the beginning of the month, Bean got to have her first Chuck'E'Cheese experience together with my mom, sisters, and nieces!

(She LOVED this ride.  It was a hydraulic jeep that would go up and down.  She thought it was hilarious and would cry anytime it stopped or the cousins would get out.)

(Safety Third)

(Amber and Emily playing air hockey!)

(Ahm playing with Bean while she rides the kiddie rides.)

(This ride would make a picture while you rode it.  The girls got the brilliant idea to ride it with Bean, and the picture was pretty close to my own picture; haha.)

(Our keepsake from the day!)
